Exuberant means: joyously unrestrained and enthusiastic, unrestrained or elaborate especially in style : flamboyant exuberant architecture. 2 : produced in extreme abundance.

Exuberant has many meanings, and the feeling God gives me is indescribable, there is not just one word that can describe the way God makes me feel. Exuberant was the one word that came close for me. I hope you enjoy this song, as much as I enjoyed making it!

Cursed

is an EP project that is now available in all major platforms. Cursed is about a time when Mell decided to ignore Gods voice and live her life the way she wanted to. She made actions based on her emotions. Leading her to destroy the main people she loved and cared for. She kept going through one bad storm to another. Instead of going to God she went to drinking, smoking weed causing her to feel more alone and worse about herself.

" In that season in my life I actually felt Cursed... I was so ashamed of the actions that I have made and embarrassed to go back to God. I kept telling myself, why go to God? He isn't going to hear you out, He is angry with you. Eventually I did call on God and Even though I messed up,God accepted me as who I was, and has held me through the storm that I have created myself. "

It's Mell

Read how she got started

Mell has had a rough child hood Growing up in the Humboldt Park community, Living in a violent environment in and out of home. (Going through Molestation, child abuse, from seeing her mother get abused). Despite her rough past she has decided to bring some light out in the world. " There is too much negativity going on out here already, we need to spread positive messages to these young kids, they are the future. I was always drawn to music, Since I can remember as a little girl I would sing in churches. My mother would put me in choir and do the best she could to support my music. I started composing music at the age of 11yrs. I recorded my first song with my younger brother... I laugh because we started recording in a closet, and we thought it sounded amazing! Since then we have been working together making music. Life got in the way and I have 2 beautiful boys, and married. I started nursing school and had to put my music to the side. Now that I have accomplish my goals, It's time to go full force with this music, work harder than ever and glorify God with the gift that he has blessed me with. I put God first because he has always been there for me, even when I ignored his sweet voice."
